I call myself a “homewitch” because I find, create, and work magic most often in my beautiful domestic setting – a small farm-ette in (very) rural Cumberland County, Virginia.  Working with friends and family to create a sustainable homestead, finding bliss within the domesticity of plain, lovely living, taking care of my family, and exploring the world within and without… it's a wonderful time of life.  Seems I learn more each day than I did the day before… expansive, organic knowledge that is childlike in its simplicity, rather than lofty, puffed-up, or “intellectual.”

Oh, and I have to mention I am now a (very) happy Mammie… to a beautiful grandson, Trevor James… and a granddaughter is on the way, due in late December!
